City of Vienna

Vienna hosts the Big Pig Jig, Georgia's oldest and largest barbecue cook-off. This is a festival of family fun featuring a children's area, arts & crafts, parade, pageants, golf tournament, a carnival with rides and games, the 5K "Hog Jog" road race, a People's Choice Tasting Tent, and three nights of big stage shows.

According to 2000 Census, the City of Vienna had a population of 2,973 persons. Between 1990 and 2000, the city experienced a population increase of 9.8%, compared to the state growth during this period of 26.4%.
